Meetingworks can be used for decision support as a front-end to many processes requiring other software (e.g., project planning, map objects).  Many groups find the discussion and evaluation tools invaluable in reaching consensus on tasks, criteria, etc. before launching into activities requiring them to be "on the same page" for decision making.

Two groups shared responsibility for implementing a rather large project.  They used Meetingworks to come to agreement on the tasks, and then placed the items into project planning software (Organize, save as Project file type).  They then assigned resources and timeframes to the tasks.  The Gantt chart is used in monthly update meetings to track their progress.
