Groups have used Meetingworks to describe their future state—5 or 10 years out.  Generate and Organize tools are used for this step. 

Afterwards, some kind of evaluation takes place to perform a “reality check”— is this where we want to go? Is this at all feasible?  Evaluate or Cross Impact can be used in this step.

After the future state is described, the group steps back and creates the strategies and tactics that helped accomplish the future.  (Generate, Organize, Evaluate).  This exercise gives them forward-thinking strategies that are necessary to accomplish their vision.
