We use a technique over and over to check comfort level with work completed. After a group works on a section (e.g., mission statement, vision statement, action plans), it is helpful to know if the entire group can accept the work before moving to the next section.
Detailed Instructions:
We set up a simple Evaluate step with a one-question input file. The Evaluate step uses the evaluation method 0-100, and an input file called something like "Comfort Level Question.mw". The input file consists of this question: "How comfortable are you with the work completed?" Instructions ask participants to offer comments.
When the group expresses their comfort or support by using a percentage, it is useful to set a threshold before the step is run (e.g., we’ll move on if the percentage is 85% or above).
You can set this step up as a loop, meaning it can be run over and over in the same meeting. To do so, use the "%L" on the step name, output file, export file, and graph title.
